First Tier Bovine Excrement: University of Texas School of Law

http://www.utexas.edu/law/finaid/costs/

Tuition: Texas residents attending this school on a full-time basis will be charged $33,162 in tuition – for the 2013-2014 academic year. Non-resident, full-time law students will be grabbing their ankles at the rate of $49,244, for 2013-2014. It’s nice to see that this public univer$ity is looking out for the students, right?!?!

Estimated Total Cost of Attendance: According to this same document, indirect expenses will amount to $21,174 for out-of-state, full-time students and $20,374 for in-state, full-time law students for the current school year. The public toilet lists the estimated COA for Texas residents as $53,536, whereas non-residents will face $70,418 in total expenses.

Keep in mind that ABA-accredited diploma mills base living costs off of a nine-month academic year. Seeing that actual students will require 12 month expenses, we need to prorate the following items: room & board; travel; and miscellaneous. Doing so, we reach the subsequent, more accurate figures. In-state, full-time law students at the Univer$ity of Texa$ will have a total budget of $59,463, and non-resident, full-time students will have a total COA of $76,345 for one damn year of “legal education.” What a bargain, huh?!?!

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/law-rankings

Ranking: Vagina Bob Morse and US “News” & World Report list the Univer$ity of Texa$ $chool of Law as the 15th best law school in the country. In fact, it only shares this rating with one other ABA-accredited money pit, i.e. Vanderbilt University, which is located in cosmopolitan Nashville, Tennessee.

http://www.utexas.edu/law/career/prospective/stats.html

Published Employment Statistics: There were 373 members of the University of Texas JD Class of 2012. Damn, that’s a lot of people! Of that amount, 343 were employed in some capacity. Only three graduates did not supply their job status to the school. As a result, the “placement” rate for this cohort was 92.7 percent, i.e. 343/370.

By the way, this supposed 15th best law school in the nation resorted to hiring 21 of its Class of 2012 grads in law school or university-funded positions! Only two of the posts were full-time and long-term. The remaining 19 jobs are listed as full-time and short-term. Yes, the pigs hired 5.6% of the entire big-ass cohort, i.e. 21/373. Without these direct placements, only 87 percent of the class would have been employed within nine months of graduation, i.e. 322/370.

Scroll down to Employment Type. Notice that a total of 187 JDs from the Class of 2012 ended up working in private law firms. If your goal is to go into such a law practice, you had a roughly 50% chance of doing so, coming out of the 15th most amazing law school in the United States.

Of that figure, two desperate souls opened up solo practices, 46 went to work for toilet law shops with 2-10 lawyers, another 19 found employment with offices of 11-25 attorneys, and seven JDs were hired by firms with 26-50 lawyers. On the high end, 22 grads became associates in firms of 251-500 attorneys - while 69 were hired by Biglaw. If you want to land such employment, your odds were 18.5 percent - i.e. 69/373 - if you were a member of the University of Texas JD Class of 2012. Do you still want to take this risky gamble, ass-clown?!

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/grad-debt-rankings/page+6

Average Law Student Indebtedness: USN&WR lists the average law student indebtedness - for those members of the UT-Austin Law Class of 2012 who incurred debt for law school - as $86,312. $omehow, only 74 percent of this school’s 2012 class took on such foul debt. Remember that this figure does not include undergraduate debt – and it also does not take accrued interest into account.

http://www.collegiatetimes.com/databases/salaries/university-of-texas-at-austin-2010?dept=law

Faculty and Administrator Salaries: Let’s see how well the academic thieves/filthy swine are doing, in comparison to their students. For this info, we head to the Collegiate Times Salary Database. The following figures are from 2010, the most recent year available. The numbers do not take bonuses, benefits or other compensation into account.

Sasquatch Lawrence Sager made $374,167 as dean. Robert Bone and his yellow teeth, big-ass nose and ratty mustache raked in $252,500 - in his role as the G. Rollie White Teaching “Excellence“ Chair in Law. Ronen Avraham received $251,389 as something called the “Thomas Shelton Maxey professor in law.” How can a group of pigs who each make at least $250K annually not use any of those funds to buy decent haircuts or dentist visits?!?! Harry Martin - now described as an adjunct “professor” - somehow “earned” $250,000 as interim director of the law library.  Yes, that must an incredibly challenging job!

Conclusion: The Univer$ity of Texa$ $chool of Law is an overpriced public commode. If you do not come from a wealthy family, then you will essentially be required to incur an additional $90K-$125K in NON-DISCHARGEABLE debt for a chance to practice law. Don’t forget that more than a quarter of the Class of 2012 did not take out any student loans for their law degrees. This means that you will be competing with connected, rich kids for good jobs. Unlike you, those boys and girls can rely on their wealthy father to call in a favor in order to get them a position.

Do…you…understand…that, Bitch?!?! Or do I need to draw you a diagram with Crayola on poster-board, so that it will penetrate your gray matter? For the benefit of the tools who are intent on attending this school, I post the following list. Your rich classmates have the following advantages over you: (a) they will not take on any student debt; (b) these coddled kids do not necessarily need to have stellar undergrad GPAs and top LSAT scores to gain admission; (c) once in school, they do not need to study hard or earn the best grades; (d) the spoiled brats do not need to “network” since they already know influential people well; (e) they speak the language of the elite pigs and they share the same culture, worldview and mannerisms; and (f) they have employment lined up.

In fact, these privileged children can get drunk every night and spend their days, nights and weekends chasing pussy and playing video games. You, on the other hand, will spend countless hours in the library. Furthermore, YOU will be expected to “work hard” and make connections. Guess what, genius? Those who already have money and/or access to power BEFORE attending law school are way ahead of you. They have several significant advantages over your debt-strapped ass in the job market.

Profiles in Judicial Diarrhea: Joel Pressman, San Diego County Superior Court “Judge”/Pig

The Swine’s Decision Regarding Class Certification in Alaburda vs. TJ$L:

http://www.sandiego.courts.ca.gov/v3tr/ViewRulings.aspx?CaseNo=37-2011-00091898-CU-FR-CTL&SelDates=09/20/2013&EventId=1226406

Joel Pressman issued the following middle finger/tripe, on September 20, 2013 at 10:30 am:

“Given the individualized nature of the relief in this case, it is difficult to determine whether any class representative would have “typical” claims.

Thomas Jefferson’s Motion for Protective Order appears moot in light of the [c]ourt’s ruling on class certification.”

At this point, no one should be surprised with such a “ruling.” Politicians in black robes commonly referred to as "judges" view themselves as gatekeepers of the “profession.” They don’t want to see successful lawsuits against ABA-accredited toilets – even against lowly FOURTH TIER DUNG PITS such as TTTThoma$ Jeffer$on Sewer of Law. Permitting these cases to reach discovery – or worse, a jury – would potentially reveal the level of in$titional rot involved in “legal education.”

Pressman Changes Course from Earlier:

http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2012/Dec/08/suit-against-thomas-jefferson-law-school-goes-forw/

On December 8, 2012, San Diego Union-Tribune reporter Greg Moran covered Pressman’s denial of TJ$L’s motion for summary judgment in his piece entitled “Suit against Thomas Jefferson law school goes forward.” For $ome rea$on, this was not front page news on the Wall Street Journal. Look at the excerpt below:

“But Pressman sided with the graduates. He wrote that as a consumer Alaburda was purchasing a legal education.

“Representations regarding that legal education are material to the decision of whether to enroll,” Pressman wrote.

Brian Procel, the lawyer for the graduates, said the judge’s decision “was a tremendous ruling for the plaintiffs.” [Emphasis mine]

Pussy Joel Pressman changed his tune quick, huh? Perhaps he didn’t like having a pair of balls, after all. By the way, Joel: the next time you shave your old, wrinkly vagina, don't glue those pubes onto your face.  It's never a good idea.

Apparently, the owners got to this rat. This happens all the time in politics. You may see a city councilman, state representative or member of Congre$$ take up a worthy cause – only to be stonewalled by higher-up pigs, i.e. “Do you want all of your bills this session to be DOA? It’s best just to let this one go. We can’t help those guys anyway.”

Other Coverage:

http://lawschooltruthcenter.blogspot.com/2013/09/this-thomas-jefferson-has-his-hos-too.html

Law School Truth Center posted an entry labeled “This Thomas Jefferson Has His Hos, Too.” Check out this portion:

“Game over.

Do not pass go. Do not collect a refund on your tuition.

My favorite part:

In support of the Opposition, TJSL has presented 111 declarations of graduates. The declarations indicate differences in what factors influenced the graduates to attend TJSL and differing weights to those various factors. Declarants included 42 different factors and less than 15% of the declarants identified employment statistics as important.”

The cesspool was able to get 111 tools to claim that employment statistics were only important to less than 15 percent of them. Yes, what a convincing argument! After all, people choose to get a four year degree, earn strong undergraduate GPAs, register with LSAC, take prep courses, spend countless hours on old exams, score well on the LSAT, convince “professors” and employers to write letters of recommendation, write personal statements, fill out several applications, etc. – all while shelling out hundreds or thousands of dollars in the process – because they don’t expect to practice law, right?!?! As with the other cases, it is obvious that Cockroach Joel Pressman wanted this result, and he relied on mental gymnastics in order to “reach” that decision.

http://jdjunkyard.forumatic.com/viewtopic.php?t=9&p=15#p15

As JD Junkyard poster “JohnDoeee” noted, on September 21, 2013 at 9:16 am – in response to the topic “TJSL – Plaintiff’s Motion for Class Certification is DENIED”:

“I knew, one way or the other, that TPTB were going to find a way - find a way, I said - to quash this thing.

Law is a noble profession?

My ass...

You can write any opinion to justify any desired outcome. Just distinguish enough facts, or use word-play. And / or logic-play, etc.

I remember thinking the same thing reading those bloviated cases from the Supreme Court.” [Emphasis mine]

Law students with any observation skills and the ability to be honest with themselves soon discovered this reality – usually within a week or two of law school. “Judges” are mere politicians in black dresses. Why the hell do you think that the selection, nomination and confirmation process is so heated? Why else would the supposed nine best “judges” in the country often decide cases on a 5-4 vote?!

Conclusion: Joel Pressman is a piece of trash who does not have the balls, backbone, character or integrity to be the first judge to allow discovery in a suit against the law school cockroaches/swindlers. In the end, law grads seeking to sue TTTThoma$ Jeffer$on Sewer of Law will need to do so on an individual basis. Good luck trying to find legal representation. What lawyer will take on a case with such a low potential payoff and remote chance of success? You must simply avoid going to law school, in the first place.  The judicial swine will continue to safeguard the academic thieves and alleged "institutions of higher education."

Third Tier Pile of Wet Feces: Florida International University College of Law

http://law.fiu.edu/prospective-students/admissions-financial-aid/tuition-and-fees/

Tuition: Florida residents attending this trash pit on a full-time basis will be charged $20,199 in tuition – for the 2013-2014 school year.  Out-of-state, full-time law students will be hit with a big-ass tuition bill of $34,443 – for the current academic year.  Student fees will add $399 to the figures above.

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/law-rankings/page+5

Ranking: At those prices, you would expect this school to have a somewhat decent reputation, correct?  According to US “News” & World Report, Florida InTTTernaTTTional Univer$iTTTy Commode of Law is rated as the 105th most prestigious and amazing law school in the entire nation.  In fact, FIU shares this distinct honor with the following three toilets: Mercer University, TTTexas TTTech, and Wayne State University.  Their mothers must be exceptionally proud.

http://law.fiu.edu/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/EmploymentSummary-2013-1-fiu.pdf

Published Employment Statistics: Let’s review the Employment Summary for 2012 Graduates for this school.  There were a total of 184 JDs in this cohort.  Of that overall figure, 160 were employed within nine months of graduation.  Three members of this class did not report their job status to the commode.  Relying on this data, the “placement” rate was 88.4 percent, i.e. 160/181.  Four grads were placed in law school or university funded positions.

Scroll down to the subheading Employment Type.  A total of 99 graduates from this class ended up working in private law firms.  Thirteen desperate souls opened up solo practices.  Another 54 landed in firms of 2-10 attorneys – including five in part-time, long term positions and three working in part-time, short term posts.  Another 15 were hired by firms of 11-25 lawyers, with one in a full-time, shot term job.  Yes, those are tremendous outcomes, right?!?!

By the way, one damn person – among a group of 184 grads - found employment in a firm with more than 500 attorneys.  This means that 0.54% of this trash heap’s Class of 2012 landed in such firms.  Are you the top one half percent, delusional ass-hat?!?!  Do you like those odds, Lemming?!  Hell, that single JD likely had connections or wealth before he went to law school.

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/grad-debt-rankings/page+6

Average Law Student Indebtedness: US “News” lists the average law student indebtedness - for those members of the Florida InTTTernaTTTional Univer$iTTTy Commode of Law Class of 2012 who incurred debt for law school - as $94,937. Fully 88 percent of this school’s 2012 class took on such toxic debt. Remember that this figure does not include undergraduate debt – and it also does not take accrued interest into account.

http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/programs.php?state=fl

Plethora of Florida Law Schools: According to this list, there are 10 ABA-accredited diploma mills in the state.  However, TLS did not include the following commodes: TTTThoma$ M. Cooley Law $ewer’s campus in Tampa Bay and Ave Maria Law Sewer.  Yes, there are 12 ABA-accredited diploma mills located in Florida.

In good news, Florida International “University” has the fourth best law school in the state.  UF Levin is ranked 46th, FSU is listed as 48th, and the University of Miami is rated 76th.  Stetson is home to the 109th greatest law school in the country.  The remaining seven Florida law schools are in the fourth tier: Ave Maria, Barry University, FAMU, Florida Coastal, Nova Southeastern, St. Thomas University, and TTTThoma$ M. Cooley.

http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/06/27/the-lawyer-surplus-state-by-state/?_r=0

Florida’s Glutted Legal Market: On June 27, 2011, Catherine Rampell’s piece, “The Lawyer Surplus, State by State,” appeared in the New York Times Economix blog.  The data was compiled by Economic Modeling Specialists Inc.  Take a look at the following numbers for Florida:

“2010-2015 Estimated Annual Openings: 2,027
2009 Bar Exam Passers: 2,782
Surplus: 755”

Do you still view enrolling in a Florida third tier cesspool as a wise financial decision?  If so, then you likely need to read paint can warning labels, in order to make sure that you don‘t drink the contents, Idiot.

Conclusion: Do not even consider attending this third tier commode.  Based on data from EMSI, the state of Florida has the EIGHT MOST GLUTTED LAWYER JOB MARKET in the country.  There are also 12 ABA-accredited diploma mills located in the state.  Simply put, a JD from the FIU Commode of Law does not lead to decent job prospects.

This school is a sweltering dung pit.  You will not be served well by incurring an additional $100K-$135K in NON-DISCHARGEABLE debt for a TTTT law degree.  Try to repay your immense student loans, purchase a home and start a family on a $40K annual salary, dumbass.  Again, the law school pigs do not have the slightest concern about YOUR future.  You are a mere means to an end, i.e. large sums of federally-backed student loan money.  The academic parasites get paid up front, in full - while YOU are stuck with the bill for the next 20-30 years.

First Tier Vile Rot: University of Virginia School of Law

http://www.law.virginia.edu/html/prospectives/finaid/tuition.htm

Tuition: Virginia residents attending this school on a full-time basis will pay $47,900 in tuition - for the 2013-2014 school year.  Out-of-state, full-time law students will be hammered with a tuition bill of $52,900 - for 2013-2014.  Hell, these filthy pigs are charging medical school rates.  Who has that type of money to spend for a single year of “legal education”?!?!

Estimated Total Cost of Attendance: This same page lists living expenses as $16,300.  Health insurance is listed as $2,574; books and supplies will run $1,800; and loan fees will amount to $206.  As such, the “non-profit” corporation/in$titution of “higher education” published total 2013-2014 COA figures of $68,780 for full-time, in-state students - and $73,780 for full-time, nonresident students.

Keep in mind that ABA-accredited diploma mills only take nine-month living costs into account, when publishing these figures.  Seeing that actual students will require 12 months of food and lodging, we need to adjust this number.  After pro-rating these expenses, that amount is $21,733.  Look at these more accurate, total COA estimates: for in-state, full time students is $74,213, whereas out-of-state, full-timers will face total costs of $79,213.

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/law-rankings

Ranking: According to US “News” & World Report, the Univer$ity of Virginia $chool of Law is rated as the 7th best law school in the country.  It shares this distinction with the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.

http://www.law.virginia.edu/pdf/aba/2012employment.pdf

Published Employment Placement Statistics:  Based on the school’s ABA Employment Summary Report, there were 364 members of the UVA Law Class of 2012.  Only two graduates did not supply their job status to the school.  The published “placement” rate is 98.6 percent, i.e. 357/362.  However, on page one of this PDF, you will notice that the school hired 55 of this cohort’s grads in law school or university-funded positions!

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/grad-debt-rankings/page+3

Average Law Student Indebtedness: USN&WR lists the average law student indebtedness - for those members of the University of Virginia JD Class of 2012 who incurred debt for law school - as $122,721. Fully 85 percent of this school’s 2012 class took on such toxic debt. Remember that this figure does not include undergraduate debt – and it also does not take accrued interest into account.

http://www.collegiatetimes.com/databases/salaries/university-of-virginia-2010?dept=law

Faculty and Administrator Pay: Let’s see how well the pigs are doing, in comparison to their debt-strapped students.  For this information, we rely on the Salary Database from Collegiate Times.  The figures below are from 2010, the latest available date.  Remember that these numbers do not include bonuses or other compensation:

Paul G. Mahoney “earned” $450,000 as dean of the law $chool.  George Rutherglen, supposedly a “distinguished law professor,” made $334,300.   War criminal extraordinaire Henry Kissinger doppelganger John Jeffries, Jr. raked in $316,000 - as something called “David and Mary Harrison Distinguished Professor of Law.”  Lastly, Richard Bonnie received $312,000 in annual salary - for teaching courses pertaining to “mental health and drug law,” the death penalty and “aging and the law.”

Unemployed UVA Law Students' Epic Protest:

http://abovethelaw.com/2011/03/law-students-at-a-top-school-protest-continued-unemployment/

On March 29, 2011, Elie Mystal posted a great entry “labeled Law Students at a Top School Protest Continued Unemployment.”  Take a look at this excerpt:

“We know that the threat of unemployment is very real to all law school students. Sure, the higher-ranked schools might do a better job of getting their students jobs, at least in percentage terms; but even top schools have students who want to work but cannot find jobs.

Students at one top-ten law school are sick of suffering in silence. They want everybody, especially admitted students, to know that going to an elite law school doesn’t guarantee you a good job.

Given the state of the legal economy and the cost of law school tuition, it’s a wonder that this kind of thing doesn’t happen more often….

Unemployed students at UVA Law School are protesting, blaming the law school administration for their wretched fate. Tipsters report that a number of UVA 3Ls have been menacing the 0Ls at UVA admitted students’ weekend. The disgruntled current students were wearing these t-shirts when they met the prospective students:

VIRGINIA LAW
$40,000  a year
And NO JOB.” [Emphasis mine]

Yes, lemming, attending this overpriced public toilet does not mean that you are going to land decent employment.  Don't forget the incredible amounts of additional student debt incurred by recent graduates of this dumpster.

Conclusion: This school is gouging its students.  These cockroaches do not have the immense costs of medical equipment and technological advances associated with medical and dental schools.  Law school pigs merely have Internet connection  of course, the biggest expense is faculty pay and compensation.  However, why should any academic ass-hat rake in $200K for dusting off old notes and reviewing archaic, parsed cases?

This is a school for rich kids.  If you are not wealthy, then you will need to excel academically here and land Biglaw.  Since there is basically no job security in that area, you better make sure to pay off your student loans as fast as possible.  Otherwise, you will struggle mightily to pay off your additional $130K-$175K in NON-DISCHARGEABLE debt - taken on for a law degree with a fancy name.

First Tier Foul Swamp: University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law

http://www.law.ufl.edu/student-affairs/current-students/fees-expenses

Tuition: Florida residents attending this toilet on a full-time basis will “only” be charged $22,181.10 in tuition for the 2013-2014 school year. Full-time, out-of-state law students will have their ass penetrated to the tune of $41,545.80 in tuition – for 2013-2014. It’s great to see a state school putting its students’ interests first, right?!?! Hell, these “professors” and administrators take their “public service” seriously.

Total Cost of Attendance: The dump site estimates that the following items will add another $15,600 to the tab: books/supplies; clothing/maintenance; cell phone/computer; food; personal; room; transportation; and a student orientation fee of $150 for first year victims.  This would make the total COA $37,781.10 for full-time, in-state students and $57,145.80 for non-residents attending full-time - for the current academic year. Some of these figures are suspiciously low. For instance, personal costs are listed as $270 and housing is set at $6,590.

Then again, ABA-accredited diploma mills base these figures on a nine-month school year. Seeing that actual students will require expense over the entire year, we need to prorate the applicable areas over twelve  months. After doing so, these costs amount to $20,390. We now reach a more accurate total COA of $42,751.10 for Florida residents enrolled full-time and $62,961.80 for full-time, out-of-state students - for 2013-2014.  Who doesn't have that type of money lying around?!

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/law-rankings/page+2

Ranking: At these rates, this school must have an incredible reputation among academics and lawyers. According to US “News” & World Report, the Univer$ity of Florida Levin Commode of Law is listed as the 46th greatest, most fantastic and amazing law school in the United States. Yes, who wouldn’t want to spend such huge sums of borrowed money for the opportunity to attend this prestigious in$titution?!?!

http://www.law.ufl.edu/_pdf/career/employers/2012-summary-report-redacted.pdf

Employment “Placement” and Starting Salary Statistics: Take a look at the filthy swamp’s Class of 2012 Summary Report, which was submitted to the NALP dolts. There were 333 total graduates, from this cohort. Of that amount, 19 were pursuing another degree, three had a start date after the nine-month deadline, 29 poor souls were unemployed and seeking – while another 12 were out of work but not looking for a job.

A total of 63 grads from this class were not employed. Six people did not provide their job status to the school. Based on these numbers, the commode had a “placement” rate of 80.73%, i.e. (327-63)/327. Of course, the "career services" sewer rats included the 19 fools enrolled in another degree program as part of their formula. The school has a published “Total Employed or Degree” figure of 86.5 percent, i.e. 283/327.

Stay on the first page of this PDF for a moment longer. Notice the following: of the 196 grads employed in positions that require bar passage, only 129 of them furnished their income to the school. For $ome rea$on, 67 of the lucky law graduates did not supply that information. The median salary for the other 129 JDs is listed as $57,000, whereas the mean figure is $65,522.

Furthermore, a total of 49 members of this class ended up in “JD Advantage” jobs, which represents 15% of those who reported their employment status. However, only 10 of these grads bothered to provide their income to the public dumpster. Does anyone have an idea as to why so few of these JDs furnished their data?!?! Law graduates who make decent or stellar salaries want to brag about their paychecks, while those earning small sums would rather hide in a corner. This is how attorneys measure their self-worth.

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/grad-debt-rankings/page+7

Average Law Student Indebtedness: US “News” lists the average law student indebtedness - for those members of the University of Florida Law Class of 2012 who incurred debt for law school - as $72,974. Fully 80 percent of this school’s 2012 class took on such toxic debt. Remember that this figure does not include undergraduate debt – and it also does not take accrued interest into account.

http://www.collegiatetimes.com/databases/salaries/university-of-florida-2009?dept=law

Faculty and Administrator Salary – from 2009: Let's see how well the academic thieves are doing, in comparison to their broke-ass, debt-strapped students.  This is the latest available information, from the Collegiate Times Salary Database, for the cockroaches at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin Commode of Law. Remember that this source does not include bonuses and other compensation.

Robert Jerry II, who resembles a mole and is still the dean at this dung heap, made $256,051 in 2009 - as dean and “professor.” William Page, in his role as something called “Marshall M. Criser Eminent Scholar, raked in $255,647 for the same year. “Dean emeritus” Jon Mills rolled around in $240,520 for his “work.” Lastly, Martin McMahon Jr. “earned” $223,069 in 2009 – as “Stephen C. O’Connell professor of law.”

It should be CLEAR to you that these dung beetles are in academia for the easy “work” and big checks. This is in stark contrast to UF law grads who take on significant sums of student debt for MUCH lower pay. I am sure that these bitches will lecture you for being “greedy” – if you are interested in making a positive return on your investment. Yet, it is okay for these dinosaurs and gluttonous Boomers to expect or demand excessive compensation for their minimal output.

Conclusion: The University of Florida Levin College of Law has a reputation slightly above crocodile piss. You DO NOT NEED to incur an additional $75K-$130K in NON-DISCHARGEABLE debt for a chance to sit for the bar exam or to practice law. It speaks volumes that so many of the employed graduates from the latest class chose not to furnish their salary data to the school. After all, these men and women made the effort of contacting the ABA-accredited cesspool – in order to report that they had jobs. Yet, they did not feel secure enough to provide their starting salaries. Keep in mind that U.S. law school pigs do not confirm the incomes that survey respondents give them. Yes, the swine simply accept the answers on faith.

The law school cockroaches do not give one damn about you, the student or recent graduate. These bastards and hags are paid up front, in full – while you are left holding a big-ass bag of student debt. If you cannot grasp that basic reality, then go ahead and enroll. Some people, i.e. idiots, need to learn things by personal experience. When your moronic decision leads to financial ruin, don’t complain that nobody warned you, Lemming.

First Tier Bulldog Droppings: University of Georgia School of Law

http://www.law.uga.edu/tuition-expenses

Tuition: Georgia residents attending this law school on a full-time basis will be charged $16,506 in tuition – for the 2013-2014 school year. Full-time, out-of-state students will be slapped with a big-ass tuition bill of $34,176 – for 2013-2014. Don’t forget that these suckers will also pay $2,234 in fees for the current academic year. Yes, these academics are truly serving the public, huh?!

http://www.law.uga.edu/cost-attendance

Estimated, Total Cost of Attendance: The pigs estimate that living expenses and books and supplies will add another $17,534 to the tab. This brings the total, published COA to $36,274 for in-state, full-time law students and $53,944 for non-resident, full-time idiots. Keep in mind that the bitches and hags at these “in$titution$ of higher learning” only count nine-month living costs.

Seeing that actual students will require twelve months of living expenses, I will pro-rate the following items: room and board; transportation; and miscellaneous. For instance, the swine claim that transportation will only amount to $1,128. Perhaps the swine hired a comedy writer to post that figure. After making these adjustments, we reach a more accurate, estimated total COA of $41,529 for Georgia residents attending law school full-time and $59,199 for out-of-state, full-time students – for the current year.

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/law-rankings/page+2

Ranking: According to Pussy Bob Morse and US “News” & World Report, the Univer$ity of Georgia $chool of Law is rated as the 33rd greatest, most wonderful law school in the entire country. Hell, it only shares this distinction with the College of William and Mary and the University of Wisconsin. Then again, Ohio State University Moritz Sewer of Law Cockroach Alan Michaels recently told a local NPR affiliate  that his 36th ranked toilet is “elite.” In that case, UGA’s law school must defy description.

http://law.uga.edu/placement-statistics

Published Employment Statistics: Take a look at the commode’s Employment Summary for 2012 Graduates. Based off this chart, a total of 194 members of this cohort were employed – whether in “bar passage required” positions, “JD Advantage” jobs, professional or non-professional posts, full-time, part-time, short term or long term. There were 229 total grads. Of that figure, four people did not provide their employment status to the school. Being kind to this public trash pit – knowing that JDs who choose not to contact the school typically do not have jobs – the “placement” rate was 86.2 percent, i.e. 194/225.

Three graduates from the Class of 2012 were placed in law school or university funded positions. Two of these posts were part-time. Isn’t it nice to see the law schools looking out for their students?!?! After all, these ABA-accredited diploma mills would not do so for ulterior reasons, right?!

Scroll down to Employment Type for this class. This data purports to show that a total of 104 graduates found jobs in private law firms. Four desperate souls started solo practices, while 31 ended up in firms of 2-10 attorneys. Another 12 grads went to work for firms with 11-25 lawyers. Two sole practitioners listed their work as part-time, as did five of the lawyers employed in 2-10 man firms. To be fair, 30 grads reported that they were working in Biglaw.

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/grad-debt-rankings/page+7

Average Law Student Indebtedness: USN&WR lists the average law student indebtedness - for those members of the University of Georgia JD Class of 2012 who incurred debt for law school - as $80,775. Furthermore, 74 percent of this school’s 2012 class took on such foul debt. Remember that this figure does not include undergraduate debt – and it also does not take accrued interest into account.

Conclusion: The University of Georgia Sewer of Law is a trap school, as defined by Paul Campos in his February 13, 2012 entry. First of all, attending this toilet is expensive. Secondly, the Atlanta area may be viewed by lemmings as a desirable place to live. Lastly, it features superficially attractive employment and salary statistics. In this specific case, income expectations would be based on the number of grads who landed Biglaw. However, only 13.1% of the Class of 2012 landed those positions, i.e. 30/229. Plus, associates are often out on their ass within 3-5 years, if they do not rake in big dollar clients.

In the final analysis, you will not be served well by incurring an additional $85K-$120K in NON-DISCHARGEABLE debt for a “legal education.” Catherine Rampell, in her June 27, 2011 New York Times Economix piece, “The Lawyer Surplus, State by State,” reported that Georgia had the 15th most glutted job market in the U.S. Look at the following numbers for the state: 779 Annual Estimated Openings for 2010-2015; 1,217 Bar Exam Passers in 2009; and a Surplus of 438 attorneys. You simply do not need to take on suffocating amounts of student debt, so that the greedy pig “law professors” and administrators can maintain their cushy lifestyles – for their minimal amount of “work.” Those jackals get paid up front, in full – while YOU, the student and recent graduate, are left holding the bag.

Corruption Central: Update on the Paul Pless and Chancellor Richard Herman Cases at the University of Illinois College of Law

Update on the Supposed Lone Scammer, Paul Pless:

On August 30, 2013, OTLSS posted an epic entry labeled “Update re: Paul Pless and Illinois Law.” Take a look at the segment below:

http://outsidethelawschoolscam.blogspot.com/2013/08/update-re-paul-pless-and-illinois-law.html

“Pless is a realtor, as we all know, but on one site, he gives away a little too much information – one word too much, in fact. On his Trulia profile, he posts the following as his interests, and gives away a little piece of information that connects all the dots:

Interests: When not helping clients buy or sell their home I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife, Stacey Tutt, is a Professor and very active in the community as a Board Member of United Way. We have a wonderful daughter and 300 pounds of dog in the energetic Duke and Ramsey.

Married to a professor? Hmmm. I looked up Professor Stacey Tutt. Guess where she works. Yup, Stacey Tutt is a professor at Illinois University College of Law, the very same place that ruined her husband’s career. That alone is odd.

But look at those dates. She was hired in June 2011, right before the school went public with the stats scandal. Right at the time where Pless would have been in the dean’s office trying to work out a solution. The dean is worried sick because he knows he told Pless to fudge the stats. Pless is crying, perhaps, because how will he look after his baby daughter with no job and a wife who makes around $55K (as per the current vacancy for a managing attorney, her prior job at Prairie State Legal Services, which is hardly going to compensate for the loss of Pless's $130K salary at the law school)? The family relied on Paul's healthy salary, and a drop from a combined income of almost $200K to just over $50K would have been devastating.

So the dean – or Pless – has a great idea.” [Emphasis mine]

Then again, the timing and circumstances could simply be a series of incredible coincidences, right?!?! According to the Salary Guide provided by the Daily Illini, Stacey L. Tutt “earned” $90,500 as an assistant clinical “professor” - in 2012. Thanks to the anonymous OTLSS commenter from 8:35 am, for that info.

Commenter dybbuk23 posted this reply at 4:46 am:

“This has appeared nowhere in the media. However, the University Ethics report, issued on Nov. 7, 2011 (prepared by Jones Day and Duff & Phelps under the direction of the University) mentions this fishy decision in a single footnote (below) (p. 104, n. 43).

http://www.law.illinois.edu/content/aba/Nov7-UofI-FinalReport.pdf

"Pless’s wife was hired by COL as a clinical instructor beginning in the current academic year. (There are no COL policies prohibiting the hiring of the spouses of employees—Pless’s wife had previously worked in COL’s placement office; she has never been employed in the Admissions Office.) Smith and other COL administrators and faculty members considered this hiring during the preceding academic year (2009-2010). At times, certain COL personnel viewed the prospect of hiring Pless’s wife favorably based, in part, on Pless’s position and performance at COL. For his part, Smith expressed to faculty and administrators that the decision whether to hire Pless’s wife would be made without regard to Pless or any desire to retain Pless. The investigation has not revealed any irregularities with respect to this hiring."

This is oddly-worded footnote that does not refer to Pless's wife by name. Moreover, Stacey Tutt is not listed as one of the 23 University employees interviewed during the inquiry. (p. 16)” [Emphasis mine]

For $ome rea$on, this report - funded by this public univer$ity - omitted this “trivial” data. Could this merely be another one of those supposed “oversights” that benefits the school?! If you buy the school’s explanation, then you need to be placed on a window sill and watered twice a week.

Richard Herman, Former UI Chancellor and Currently Overpaid Faculty Member:

This public sewage pit is no stranger to corruption. Check out this Chicago Tribune article, entitled “University of Illinois admissions: Chancellor says 'we have to fix' system.” Reporters Jodi S. Cohen, Stacy St. Clair and Tara Malone wrote the piece, which was published on July 7, 2009. Look at this excerpt:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-u-of-i-clout-college-07-jul07,0,370456.story

“The University of Illinois' favoritism toward students backed by powerful sponsors must come to an end, the principal enforcer of the campus' secret admissions system testified Monday.

Chancellor Richard Herman took responsibility for the special treatment given to students with political connections but weak academic credentials. He also acknowledged trying to mitigate damage to the law school by seeking jobs for graduates and thereby improving the school's job-placement rate.” [Emphasis mine]

Jodi S. Cohen’s follow-up piece, “After scandal, U. of I.'s former chancellor isn't teaching but still makes $212,000,” appeared in the May 6, 2013 edition of the Tribune. Look at this opening:

http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2013-05-06/news/ct-met-u-of-i-herman-20130506_1_john-prussing-richard-herman-ultimate-decision-maker

“Richard Herman doesn't have to do much teaching as part of his $212,000 faculty job at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

When he resigned as chancellor after a high-profile admissions scandal, he made a deal to teach just two classes a year in the College of Education, where a professor typically teaches four.” [Emphasis mine]

Two paragraphs later, Cohen stated:

“Herman is one of several top U. of I. officials who resigned under pressure in recent years and subsequently moved into high-paying faculty positions.”

Yes, Pig Richard Herman was certainly punished for his unscrupulous actions. [Read: This bastard was richly rewarded for taking the blame and keeping his mouth shut.]

Conclusion: The University of Illinois overall - and the Commode of Law in particular - is a moral cesspool. A nest of cockroaches has more integrity than these $elf-intere$ted bitches and hags. In the final analysis, “higher education” is designed to provide academic thieves with high paid salaries for little to no actual “work.” YOU, the student, are a mere means to an end. The law school pigs don’t care if you end up owing $190K in NON-DISCHARGEABLE debt - while working as a JD barista or doc review monkey. Hell, they do not give a damn if you end up in a dumpster or in a food pantry line. The swine only look out for themselves.
